Cambodia used to be a great empire kingdom, called Bayon, locate in the center
of Angkor Thom. The legend king is ambitious that he not only fix the Angkor
Thom, expand a territory east of the city, also he build basic constructions
of the city, like digging deeply rivers around the city .

柬埔寨過去是一個王朝，吳哥王朝．位置在現在大吳哥城的中心位置．傳說中有一位雄心
壯志的國王他不但修復了大吳哥城，拓展城市的東方領土，還建設了許多城內基礎設施，
最著名的就是挖掘深邃的護城河．

There’s a saying that the smiling face curved everywhere in the Angkor Thom,
is similar to the king’s face, known as “Bayon’s smile” worldwide. Every
king in the Cambodian history are buddhists, who affect cultural atmosphere
of the city. Even now, Around Cambodians house, there is a golden stand ,
shaped like temple, for offering sacrifice or flowers to buddha. In the
village, I have heard several children teached by monks, that represent books
about buddha also imply education bible.

相傳大吳哥城內到處石刻微笑的臉，經過後人比對和國王遮耶七世的臉極為相似．
後人取名為吳哥的微笑．柬埔寨歷代國王都是篤信的佛教徒，這影響了柬埔寨全城風氣，
甚至今日我們在柬埔寨的小房子邊還可以發現金黃色造型如小型供奉檯的設施，在村落
裡，我有聽說部分村落的小孩的教育都是在村落裡的寺廟，暗示著佛教的書籍，也可能
是很好的教育書典。


Bonbonplo
I heard from my neighbor, that he said there is a special place you can never
lose, so I take “Tuk-Tuk ” from Siem Reap city, along the No.6, for sight
seeing. Bonbonplo is a throat of tonic sap lake, the biggest aqua in the
Asia, which direction one way to Vietnam Mekong, the other way though
Cambodia.

我從我鄰居那得知有個美妙的地方非去不可，所以我從暹粒市搭上嘟嘟車，沿著六號公
路來到這個地方．象鼻碼頭是入洞裡薩湖的咽喉地帶，洞裡薩湖有兩個出口，另一個則
落在越南的湄公河附近。


I sit in front of the ship , and the guy sit behind me used to be a tour
guild. He say that people here build high-leg house, in case of flooding.
We drive along the lake, many tall trees only showed bushes, like floating
castle. Some fisher uses pumpkin to fish. We think it’s a very interesting
thing, so we laugh loudly.

我坐在船頭，坐在我身後的是一位導遊，他告訴我，為了防範淹水，這裡的人都住在
高腳屋內。我們沿著湖面移動，大樹變成了樹叢，像極了漂浮的城堡．船夫告訴我們
一些漁夫拿南瓜來餵魚，我們聽了覺得很有趣。開懷的大笑了。


Going to villages

The next day, I go inside village with a volunteer team from Taiwan. The
task today is to built a house. Ｗhen ever cloud came, we worried if it
bring a big rain, and we hurry to finish the bone of the house.

我參與了一整個禮拜的行程和來自台灣的志願義工一起進村。我們的工作是建造
房屋，每當雲層飄過來的時候，我們擔心它是不是會帶來豪大雨，所以我們更加
快速完成房屋。

Our team leader, Eason, train us to nail the floor and weave the wall by
bamboo sticks. As we arise the bone of the of house, we yell with excitement.
Witnessing long-legs set up on the ground, we feel so proud about ourself.

我們隊伍ELIV，它教我們如何利用竹子釘地板和編織牆壁．當我們將房屋的骨架好
不容易立起時，大家興奮的又叫又跳，見證自己由平地蓋起一棟高腳屋，我們
感到自豪．
