當我回想起Leuven，城市本身我是沒有太多印象，人與人的互動是我所擁有的。
依然記得在車掌宣告我20th當晚到不了Leuven時，
范姜嘗試為我找尋在Brussel一個容身的地方。
當我在Namur街頭的低溫中捱過三個小時，帶著暗夜星辰來到Leuven，
穿越了車站的地下道，空氣中傳來我的名字，一杯溫熱的巧克力遞上，
這是我第一次見到wanyu為我找的host - 范姜。
城市沈睡的六點，我告訴自己這趟旅行一切都會越來越好。
五點就已經做好的Omlette重新熱過，不常下廚的范姜，展現了十足的誠意。
認識一個人或許需要一輩子，但捕捉一個人的特質，是在剎那之間。
范姜對事物的熱情，從他的言談間可以感受到那份火花，
他是會讓我自己覺得他是真的用"心"生活著。
那不單是態度，而是負責的行動力。

對ptt couchsurfing版來說，她不是一個陌生的人物，
對我來說，從2005年認識到現在，她是我欽佩的朋友。
當我在IMEC沒有3D電影可以看只好寫日記時，她的出現讓我知道一切都沒問題了。
她總是可以在我困惑時點出一條不一樣的路，即使我們是在桌球檯打球閒話。
她的樂觀是我一直努力學習的，要像她跳出思維框架看事情則是我所不及的。
在Leuven的最後一天猶豫著該去機場過夜時，最後她還是收留了我，
靜謐的四點離開前往火車站時，我只能默默的在心中感謝她。
也只有她會在我與世隔絕之際，捎來簡訊告知Cinque Terre淹水的消息，
除了host的身份外，她是我的摯友: Wan-Yu.


傳奇，不是用口耳相傳留下來的，Emmanuel接待了一個又一個的surfer,
在希臘的Rhodes島上成為couch surfer必定造訪的host.
在你抵達Rhodes的那天，一對荷蘭父子同時也是他的surfer.
在你玩樂Kalymnos的三天，他也沒有閒下來的接待了一對澳洲情侶，
你回到Rhodes的那夜，他是俄國女生的地陪，你們三人一起在bar小酌。
因為公眾交通的不可預測性，Emmanuel毫不猶豫的兩次前來市區接人，
在各超市歇業的週日夜晚，他看出了你沒有進食的窘境，簡單的弄了食物，
離去的前一夜，他做好早餐讓你不至於空腹去搭機。
雖然你知道不會成為他咖啡事業的伙伴，
雖然他的火車夢就像麥克安迪的旺盛想像力，
但你真心的感謝這位在Rhodes的host.

一張船票，你就這樣搭上了深夜最後一班的渡輪和Maria一起去Kalymnos.
和Steve往訊息中，你沒有預料到Kos會是一個短暫的停留，
當你歡欣的來到Kos時，你一直以為會在醫學之父Hippocrates的故鄉獲得指引，
當Maria載你到Zia看落日時，你還是覺得當晚會落腳在Kos,
在愛琴海的星空下，你才發覺這就是couchsurfing奇妙之處。
你每天一早肩起背包就在這一無所知的島嶼上展開十多公里的健行，
夜晚回到港灣旁的傳統住宅裡和Maria分享你多麼喜愛這個小島。
看著第一晚三個人在廚房為你從幾乎空無一物的冰箱裡變出食物讓你裹腹的照片，
你忘不了那一夜四個人躺臥在陽台面對著愛琴海吹著海風的悠閒。
當船逐漸駛離Kalymnos的時候，你是帶著陽光暖暖的離去。

當Stefano臨時取消在Pisa的couch, 你只是按當初的備案前往hostel.
你萬萬沒有想到運氣如此之好，Lucca舉辦盛大的cosplay，Pisa成為人們的據點。
面臨著隔日無床可睡的危機，你硬著頭皮在hostel裡投出一封封的急件，
隔日醒來，profile設定為女性為佳的Aldo竟然同意了你的請求。
愛湊熱鬧的你被困在上千人的Lucca火車站動彈不得時，
Aldo也沒有因為你一再更改碰面時間而不願意接待你，
你氣喘吁吁的踏進他的家中，他只是溫和的要你慢慢來。
拂曉未明的卯時，退去人潮的石頭路上，Aldo一再地向你確認會互留reference,
會透過facebook持續的保持聯絡，你突然感覺到一種寂寞，
在匆忙交會的過程裡，有些人是多麼希望自己不要被遺忘。

As I was informed by Stefano that he couldn't host me
because the pipes in his place were broken,
I just initiated my plan B and went to Pisa as scheduled.
I had no idea and didn't expect that all the hostel and hotel were
fully booked due to the Biggies, a cosplay festival in Lucca.
I wrote a last minute couch request to Aldo about my situation and
he promptly accepted to host me.
When I stuck in Lucca train station and
re-arranged meeting time again and again,
Aldo was patient enough to wait for me until I rushed in to his place.
Since he didn't feel comfortable on that day, we had not much talk.
I feel embarrassed because for me, couchsurfing is not a free accommodation.
I do hope that my reference in couchsurfing website can show my sincerity and
the facebook can be a way to stay in contact with him.

「留與不留，決定權在你。」於是在這山城小國裡，你一待就是三晚。
茹素的Jenny與她朋友們每一晚的聚餐都是如此的溫馨，
在餐桌上即使語言的隔閡讓你無法加入對話，但你的心平靜而快樂。
San Marino就像是現實裡的桃花源，你是無意間闖入的漁夫，
多數的時間你在這裡享受無所事事的美好，和Cata學習編織項鍊
(你配戴著它完成了這趟旅行，它守護著你的平安)、在火堆旁剝胡桃，
你參加了他們朋友在local bar的演唱會，你為Jenny翻譯各種豆漿食譜，
當忙忙碌碌吞噬了旅行的意義，用照片內心的空虛時，
生命的本質在這裡獲得導引，讓心靈支配著你的感官，
在那裡有比時間更尊貴的東西，是你和Jenny與她朋友們相處得到的。

"To stay or not to stay, that's not a question."
Therefore, I savoured mountain life in San Marino to the full.
Every meal with Jenny and her friends were so heart-warming that
I always felt peaceful and contented.
San Marino is my Shangri-La, over there,
an illusion of time filled in my inner space.
"Dolcee far nirentee" was realized during my stay.
I learned how to make a necklace which accompanied me
through the rest of my journey and kept me safe and sound.
Besides the fire, I opened the nutshell wholeheartedly.
I attended a concert performed by Jenny's friend in a local bar, her voice
was so attractive and full of emotions that I hardly forget that night.
I have bustled and lost on every city, filling my empty heart with photos.
However, the essence of life was be redirected in Jenny's place.
My mind is the navigator of my soul.
If I ever found something more important than time itself,
it's the time I spent with Jenny and her friends.

生命的輪盤在你不注意的瞬間就會變動。
在Valencia醒來，你收到了Daniel的簡訊，確認接待你的文字裡充滿了森巴式的活潑。
你在機場候機時，一封道歉簡訊讓你錯愕不已：他臨時被派遣去開會。
買好捷運票準備前往Porto的青年旅館探問前你開啟因搭機而關閉的手機，
又一封的簡訊告訴你外派取消，他可以接待你了。
感冒尚未痊癒的他堅持帶著你簡單的瀏覽市區，濃霧不可收拾的瀰漫著整個城市，
你們兩個人走在電影般的場景裡聽著電車聲自空無中傳來。
在餐廳裡你品嚐了Porto Wine, 那是他給你的禮物，也是你對這城市微醺的愛戀。
行動略微不便的他領著你在細雨的街道上搜索食材，只為了一品你令人失望的廚藝。
對他而言，一個surfer喜歡這個城市他就滿足了，
對你來說，一個城市會因為一個host而繽紛。
在他和室友Hélio的殷勤好客中，一個恍惚，你就會迷失在這美好的人情裡。

The roulette of life spins before you notice.
When I woke up in Valencia, I recieved a message from Daniel.
His words showed Samba style passion. A
s I waited in the airport, another message brought me to hell that he couldn't
host me because he was assigned to another city on that day.
After buying my metro ticket in Porto,
I swithced on my mobile and found a message saying that
it was cancelled and he can host me!
Despite his illness, he showed me around the city on my arrival day.
The mist transformed the city into an unreal scene in a film.
The sound of tram appeared from no directions and the lights were illusory.
Daniel took me to a restaurant and enjoyed the Porto wine.
It's his gift for me and also the beginning of my love with this city.
He led me in the drizzly lanes to find ingredients for dinner
but I cooked a not so impressing dinner in reward.
For him, the purpose of couchsurfing is to let a surfer love this city.
For me, a city becomes meaningful because of a good host.
In Porto, I lost in the hostpitality of Daniel and his flatmate Hélio.
