御殿場的直達巴士問題 - 東京

這幾天瘋狂爬文之後還是一頭霧水
一月中準備要去東京五天自由行，第三天行程安排從新宿的旅館前往御殿場outlet
目前我已經知道的交通方式是電車和高速巴士，巴士分小田急與JR巴士，都有從新宿發車
我的問題是:
1.兩種到底哪裡不一樣?有些人說小田急是一天只有來回一個班次，但又有人說是JR，御殿場的官網上的時刻表是代表哪個車次呢？
2.兩種巴士都是採預約制嗎？一定要先在台灣上網預約嗎？
希望有去過的人可以幫幫我><真的搞不懂這兩個巴士到底怎麼選擇～～謝謝各位～
