9月底的樂活團南關之旅，結束了龍山文衡殿的再訪後，
我們繼續前往龍崎嶇的另外一個野外景點：
牛埔泥岩水土保持教學園區（以下簡稱牛埔泥岩）。

牛埔泥岩位於二仁溪上游，一處名為埤仔溝溪支流處，
是台南龍崎區與高雄市田寮區的交界位置。因為多屬黃砂土及青灰岩地質，
抗蝕能力低，在經年累月的地表沖蝕及溪流侵蝕作用下，
常寸草不生形成光禿禿的泥司惡地，交錯排列於高低起伏的丘陵與溪谷，
造就了景觀獨特的月世界風貌。

行政院農委會水土保持局，為達水土保持成效、減低下游洪災、
維護景觀特色並兼顧生態教育宣導等多重目標，從民國87年起，
開始了埤仔溝溪集水區內以生態工法進行土壩及土堤的設置、
裸露坡面植生等水土保持工作。

並與龍崎嶇公所合作在集水區內設置步道及涼亭等休閒設施，
將原本宛如月球表面的荒涼景象，轉化成為生機盎然、
吸引了眾多野生動植物棲息的生態園區。

從182市道循著牛埔泥岩的招牌就可以找到入口處，
不過還要經過約5分鐘的路程才能抵達園區。

由於是生態教學區，有很多生態工法的介紹與解說，
第一個看到的就是「植生帶及打樁編柵植生工法」

第一站，飲水思源是個小涼亭，可以稍微歇腳一下

我們選擇了從飲水思源下方的步道前進，而這邊使用的是「掛網噴植工法」

往下步道的終點是一個小房子

接著我們選擇繼續往月世界方向前進

前面提到了生態園區內有很多生物，沿路的蝴蝶當然也為數不少

這一帶的路面使用的是坡面培地茅植草帶工法

走了一段距離後終於到了月世界底下

灰白色的外觀，看起來就像荒蕪的月面，所以有月世界的稱號

雖然是泥岩，但看上去相當堅固，很好奇前陣子颱風時為何都沒有流失

最深處是一處涼亭與夢湖畔，所以我們修習了片刻就開始往回走

我們的路線來到了景點第4站，生生不息，似乎跳過了2、3兩站

三叉路，左邊似乎是古道，而中間與右邊是殊途同歸的路線

第5站，水中樓台，是一處在水面下1公尺的涼亭

這裡是利用了豎管連接的技術，讓四面的水流入管束中，
所以水並不會滲入涼亭內，而且看上去像是在水中的感覺

第6站，湖光山色，可以眺望夢湖與小山丘的地方，也是牛埔導覽的終點

往下的部分是前往天池，從地圖看上去有一段距離，所以我們沒有選擇這段
